Its already June 19th (Happy Juneteenth everyone!) and it has been quite warm. Finally!
Though it's not officially summer just yet (it starts tomorrow) it feels like it, and I have been scouring the internet for fun things to do. Do I want to do picnics? Tan at the beach? Do I want to explore something new? I can do all of that, and... what will be next?
There's so many new attractions as well as some annual events happening all over, that its not hard to have fomo. We get cold winters here that stall the onset of spring, so every summer day with delightful weather is precious. Chicago winters are alright, but it calls for indoor events to feel some level of comfort. I'm not skilled enough for ice skating or skiing, so I tend to stick with Christmas light viewing and making tea to cuddle up with a book at home.
So far, I have enjoyed myself, but am restless for a new adventure. I tried a few new delectable, savory, summer bites that have me yearning for more, visited a few different cities, and am looking forward to a few events, but there's something out there that could be more exciting than just watching my phone fill up with video after video of what needs to be edited next. Something more exciting than just relaxing after a long day to get ready for the next.
There is an interview that has been produced by Bananny and published recently about my takes on gyaru fashion!
