Macy's 2017 Bridal Expo

Hello hello! Been a little m.i.a. for a bit but wanted to pop a new post up!

The Macy's Bridal Expo was just a week ago, and it still feels extremely surreal! I got to choose two gowns to model for the event, 1 ball gown with gorgeous, delicate beading  being worn for the runway.

I started out getting my make up done at Fashion Fair's booth. Then, I made my way over to Pure Beauty Salon to get my hair done into a braid encircling low bun after nibbling on cheese and grapes.

After getting all dolled up, I found myself in a sleek, fit and flare sparkling Demetrios gown with a flowing train, greeting people before the show with Michelle in a flirty, shorter gown perfect for a Spring or Summer wedding.

Super Fashionable Weekend!

Anime Midwest was just last weekend, marking the time left that participants and planners have for the Super Gyaru weekend and the upcoming Harajuku Fashion Walk. 

Currently rererelearning the Night of Fire para para to perform sometime on Saturday. It was pretty cool to practice together with some new acquaintances. I think I may have caught parapara fever again.... oh my! 

Everyone is finalizing their outfits and hairstyles and I am still contemplating what I can throw together, Should I pile on the accessories, or go minimal?  Bold hair colour, or a natural colour? So many options, so little time!!!!!! 

Can't wait to meet new gals, lolita lovers, and other alternative fashion enthusiasts at the Harajuku Fashion Walk!

Networking Event

This weekend was an exciting one with various events that were held.

I started off the weekend at a yacht party, conversing and meeting with new people. I also reconnected with a few that I met at a previous event. It rained on Friday but it did not stop the wonderful time riding past the gorgeous buildings that were lined up by the river and added a touch of the dramatique to the fashion show.

There were also Dior models showcasing beautiful designs that piqued my interest (you can catch a snippet on my IG) .

After the yacht party, C's party and I made our way to Parliament, then Time for the amazing after party in River North. 🍸

Saturday Night Live

I got to play and experience indie games at Woman Made Gallery. The merging of an art space with indie games and tech themed art was a perfect combination.

I started a new job last December and its going pretty decently. The only thing is... is that my new hours totally screws with my time for hanging with people and coordinating get togethers!
While people are eating breakfast and commuting... I am usually asleep. Just my luck, right?
One of the good things is that I don't have to deal with a ton of people on my way to and from work usually, so my commute is generally peaceful. I know I will miss it when I work during normal business hours! Rush hour....

YUM.

Besides that, I had another Artsy Maid Cafe Meeting!

Time for a new one I guess

I wore an old pair of leatherette knee high boots I had in my closet. The weather wasn't too bad... but then again, I didn't have to wait on public transportation this time around!

Me and the Girlz... And Simon... LOL

I felt pretty excited with this meeting! Plus it was a lot of fun too. Can't wait for the Cafe to roll around though!

I also have been editing and stuff like crazy. @___@
Time to clone myself like forealz cuz this sitting behind a computer screen for hours tweaking things is a pain in the booty cheeks.
