Fall Colour Trend

It feels more like Fall in Chicago, well, on some days... and I've been getting ready for it all: the crisp air, Halloween decorations, the beautiful colours of the leaves before they flutter down from outstretched branches.
I've also been thinking of colour schemes and cute jackets and sweaters for this season as well.
One of the main colours I wanted to showcase in some of my outfits is a burgandy, or a wine colour. It fits within mature styles while giving you a pop of colour.

Here are a few items that work as a quick go to template that would look great in this month's colour, fit for fall.

Outer

Bold enough to keep on trend, yet you can always remove it for your stylish outfit underneath.

Inner

Sweater

What says fall better than a soft and cozy sweater? Nothing...thats what! Pair it with heeled or flat booties and dark pants or jeans!

Footwear
Shoes

A pair of deep red boots or heels looks gorgeous rustling through piles of autumn leaves. With a matching coloured purse or hat, this can keep an outfit on point and cohesive!

Maybe its time to knit a wine coloured sweater....hrm...

Busy week for this busy bee! Finals are over, Acen is here, and I will be in a friend's, Nikki Lynette's music video shoot. I am nervous, yet excited for this but I think it will be fun.

I have been making so many plans this month that it feels overwhelming, but I can't wait til they fall into place! I have been making plans on cute little projects for Gal*luxy and to also have members of the gal community participate in some way (any one remember my Western Gal vid I made a whiiile back? )

Change in Taste, Change in Style (picture heavy)

From my start in late 2007/early 2008, I was heavily into the manba and banba fashion style. Boy, I tried to mix in bright colours, and tease my hair up really big while wearing the boldest make up all throughout my last year of high-school.
I desperately wanted to be a manba/banba gal, and I wanted to be a GOOD one, that I can recall. I would come home from school almost everyday with my growing collection of make up to practice my make up and gain a style for myself, just like how the other manba gals had a style that was "theirs" make up wise. I tried out different liners and concealers(I had a yellowy beige concealer when I first started, then figured it wasn't looking too nice and ditched it) til I thought I was satisfied with a look.
