Egg, C’mon Now!

Egg magazine pulled another clickbaity, race-baiting stunt again on their YouTube channel. I went to look for it the other day for this post, but it was removed.

Can’t they come up with other content that’s more interesting and funny? Why not a Gyaru puts on blue makeup and sees if anyone notices that it’s overtaking her face? Gal adds on more and more wigs? Or is that all they can come up with and want to be known for by this generation of gyaru? Definitely not trying to paint the older mags as perfect or without sin, but gosh... 

Quite a lot of newer generations of gyaru in the West are extremely disappointed in some of the stunts that they have been pulling. 

One new gen gyaru states that she is completely done with egg because of these antics while an older gen gyaru  says she won’t be buying anymore of the magazine and wishes she bought more of the older mags when they were available. 

Egg (and the Kogyaru group) doesn’t seem to care that their actions can be seen as insensitive or even reckless. After all, black culture for them just earns them cool points without having to live the black girl struggle, and who cares about the safety of kids if it nets you hundreds if not thousands of likes?
