I'm up super late working on a portfolio piece for class. I have been studying and working on quite a bit of projects and assignments that I feel will be a nice example of how I have grown as an artist.There's a March gyaru meet that I might attend as well. I think it will be fun.

Thinking on it, it seems like a long time since when I wanted to be in Colulu Lovelies and got into Diamond Gyaru sa instead.

On Saturday, Jade Purin and her boyfriend r chilled at Mitsuwa. It was pretty fun, and we dressed up despite the cold! I found some cosplayers who I hope to see at Acen too.

Sunday, Purin and I had a photoshoot with a friend, David of DSA Photography. It was a very cute themed shoot! It was a first for David to do something with a lighter theme, and it was my first time doing a little art directing and helping with the photos and such.

Monday night, I got dressed up to go to a Muse concert. I recieved avip tickets, and it was a very exciting experience! Simply put, Muse was awesome. I have not heard a lot of music from them since I was in high school, so seeing them at the United Center with all the fog and people was mind blowing.

I really wish I could have gotten a good pic of my outfit! oh well. It was just a corset, and black shiny look leggings.

Also, I have a kind of big blog post about my gal journey and my thoughts! I hope my readers will like it. :)

Catch Up

I have been super busy and totally forgot to post pictures up for valentines!  Being a member of Gal*luxy, I had a theme blog post for my gyaru sa, Gal*luxy to share with other gals around the world how we spend our time with our loved ones. Whether they are friends, friends we treat as our own family, family, or our lovers.

I also have been becoming a bit more organized due to working in an office setting. gah... It can be a little stressful but I think I have been keeping up with my planners...

For my personal (gyaru/school) life, I am trying to use school as my way to dress more gyaru like. Sometimes I am pretty casual with my look (band shirt and jeans, but I think that with my hair looking a bit styled and with a full face of makeup and lashes, I feel more passable these days. ;)

As for gal mags, I bought Edge*s and Ageha. Ageha is as photoshopped and glittery as ever, and Edge*s has some nice style inspiration. I have been trying to get into more styles that will reflect a cool, sassy, alternative, mature for myself when I am not on my own time.

I also got a gift too yesterday that cheered me up! Sanrio goodies from an acquaintance. 

Also doing a different hair regiment as well! No more relaxers!

So, I met with, tomo, kai, and toru to go to jade purin's for a me2. We played some tekkon, ate snacks and drank a little bit and chatted it up. We also skyped with pepa too since she couldnt make it.

On sunday, kai, tori, and tomo and i looked around at shops and we found the cutest soap place. The soaps and lotions were pastry and sweets theme! So cute!!

I feel that there are so many expectations and if you are too different, either you care about them , or you dont. If you are expected by age 23 to have a, b, c, d, etc, and you only have a few of those, you might feel pressured or sad that it didnt happen for you. But damn, that is what someone else says YOU should get. SOMEONE ELSE!

I sometimes see gals post  about clothes being too short, usually skirt or dress wise.
I know you don't want a panty slip, or have your dress rise up when you are dancing or getting up from sitting down, or any other situation that can be embarrassing.

So what is the the best thing to do?
You can do one of two things:

I celebrated my 23rd bday by  myself on monday. It wasnt so  bad. There was wonderful atmosphere, and I had some awesome dessert and delightful beverages, It was a fanntastic change of pace.

Let's see... rocker, casual rock,slight kuronba... Cool,rock,stylish black...My style has changed a bit over the years, but i think it still kind of fits those categories.

I dont know actually! Lol I love writing, so I guess thats what brought me to it.
I used to like keeping a diary, but I also like writing stuff so maybe someone else can enjoy too, or see a snippet of life through my eyes.

Gyaru Get Together 9/29

So Kai , Tori, and Pepa came up to Chicago for a little gyaru weekend. I havnt seen Kai in about two years since the Halloween/My bday party meetup that went sour... (at least I got a Burberry bag though. I hope its authentic...), never met Tori, and only said hi to Pepa at Acen because I had some priorities to take care of.

We just ate, and did a little drinking, and catching up and lots of bonding!
