Hair

So, besides school and studying Japanese still, I like to try things out with my hair. I bleached it recently and tried to get in some grey tones, but it only worked in a few spots... so I ended up bleaching them out a little. Still have this one little awkward grey/ash spot though, but whatever.

 I might buy an ash blonde toner to get a little more yellow out, but this is the lightest my hair has been. EVER. I even have a random almost white blonde spot hidden under the layers near the top because I didn't notice the bleach was still in the area.... But I do know that I will be doing some hardcore conditioning now.
I might even buy a purple  or blue dye and do some punky streaks in the blonde part or something. Something a little edgy and cute.

Whenever I find a decent set of extensions, I think I will buy a grey/silver colour to mix in with black(dark brown)for the right side of my head. No clue really. Just hope it doesn't end up looking stupid because visualizations are different from actually doing something! Especially since my hair is mostly a black/choco red brown on the right side with NO grey there whatsoever....  hrm... oh well.

Ill think of something I guess. But right now, this is pretty decent. Might get some extensions just for some length and call it a day for right now while I figure this out...

Chicago Gyaru Winter Me2, recap

So on Thursday, I picked up Justin, then friday, Jax from the Megabus stop in Chicago.

Friday it snowed hella hard, but we managed to do Wao Bao with Nami, Justin, Kevi, and Tomo, then hookah later that night with Nami, Tomo, Justin and Jax

picked up Jax from the station, and taking her to my place to drop off her stuff

Then we made it to the hookah place!

On Saturday, we got up to do some shopping in Boystown, then hit up the H&M on Michigan that's near the Water Tower. After that , we ate at Tasty City in Chinatown, then hit up Sakura Lounge for some crazy karaoke and dancing, then topped the night off with some clubbin at Berlin in boystown.

Sunday was a chill day, just took Jax to the MegaBus (Justin had to reschedule his train cuz we missed it :<  ) but we got to chill another day with him though.

Pretty fun weekend despite the snow and hitches and glitches with the CTA and my derp ass phone. >.>;

 Plus we had a pretty good turn out on Saturday which made me pretty proud!

I hope more people get to make it out here during the summer me2. It will most likely be more things packed into one day, with the other days being more optional for out of towners i think. Just to keep things simpler.~

Anyhoo, thanks for comin out you guys! I appreciate it

Change in Taste, Change in Style (picture heavy)

From my start in late 2007/early 2008, I was heavily into the manba and banba fashion style. Boy, I tried to mix in bright colours, and tease my hair up really big while wearing the boldest make up all throughout my last year of high-school.
I desperately wanted to be a manba/banba gal, and I wanted to be a GOOD one, that I can recall. I would come home from school almost everyday with my growing collection of make up to practice my make up and gain a style for myself, just like how the other manba gals had a style that was "theirs" make up wise. I tried out different liners and concealers(I had a yellowy beige concealer when I first started, then figured it wasn't looking too nice and ditched it) til I thought I was satisfied with a look.
